Personal data that we process
Personal data is all information about an identified or identifiable natural person. This means that information is either directly about someone or can be traced back to this person. According to the GDPR Data (Data Protection Regulation) from organizations is not personal data.
Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service has no intention of collecting information about website visitors under the age of 16. Unless they have parental or guardian permission. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16 years of age. We encourage parents to be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent the collection of information about children without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal information about a minor without that consent, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will delete that information.
For what purpose and on what principles we process personal data
DDS processes your personal data for the following purposes;
- Sending our newsletter and/or advertising brochure
- To be able to send you our quotation, order confirmation and to be able to to execute and send/ship your order in good order
- To be able to call or e-mail you if this is necessary to carry out our services
- Inform you about changes to our services and products
- This information is also required for any returns or repairs

- Other personal data that you actively and voluntary provide when you subscribe to our newsletter, in correspondence and / or by telephone.

How long we retain personal data
DDS retains your personal data no longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data are collected. By law, we must keep the data related to your order for 7 years.
Sharing personal data with third parties
DDS shall only provide to third parties and only if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.
Distribution and logistics partners
To be able to process your order, we work together with postal- and logistics partners such as Post NL, KDZ and Base Logistics. These parties receive (only as necessary) your customer number, order number, name, and delivery address to ensure that they can process your order correctly and deliver the order to the address you specified.
Other external service providers
We also engage other external service providers to help with certain organizational or technical matters. Sometimes they also need personal data for this. We only share the data that is necessary for the assignment that the external service provider carries out for us. We do not sell your information to these service providers or other third parties. And we conclude agreements with all external service providers in which we agree what they can do with the data. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

View, modify or delete data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by DDS and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you. You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion, data treatying of your personal data or request to withdraw your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to email@example.com.
To ensure that the request for inspection has been made by you, we ask you to enclose a copy of your proof of identity with the request. In this copy, make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Burgerservicenummer (BSN) black, this is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. DDS would also like to point out that you have the possibility to file a complaint with the national regulator, the Personal Data Authority.

DDS takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it.
